Their sections are multiple and are divided according to the type of plant: cacti, ornamental palms, medicinal, to name a few. The place also has a chicle camp, cottage for reading, archaeological site, natural park and suspension bridges. You see, it's not just any garden.

Ruta de los Cenotes

Cenote is a natural sinkhole created where a cave ceiling has collapsed, a window to this spectacular world. Cenotes were the only source of water in the jungle for the Mayan civilization and are considered sacred by the Mayan people. The Mayan considered cenotes to be an entrance to their "underworld" or "Xibalba" where their gods live and their spirits reside after death. In Puerto Morelos you will find an entire road full of cenotes, it is called “Ruta de Los Cenotes”, where you are going to find many beautiful cenotes of different types and shapes. Many of them have been transformed in fully equipped adventure parks with all sorts of activities, like the zip line, quads, mountain bikes and so on or modern representation of Mayan rituals such as ceremonies or temazcal.

Whale shark

The whale shark is the largest fish that exists in the world today, it can grow up to 15 meters in length. The whale shark prefers the warm surface water in areas where there are upwellings of cold water rich in nutrients, like the ones between Isla Mujeres and Holbox island in the summertime, since these conditions favor the growth of plankton on which they feed. Whale sharks are very docile and gentle, do not get scared when they are approaching divers or swimmers. The season you can have the possibility to do a snorkeling tour is from June to September. Dorado Buceo offers the Whale shark tours at a great price, so you can enjoy the wonders of the Caribbean reefs.
